I do not concern myself with great matters I do not reach beyond the boundaries of my own understanding The sun, the moon, and the stars are born of a wisdom to high for me In my moment of time I pause to acknowledge so much greatness before me, and I am humbled to be a servant of the most High The wind whispers through the trees and I listen carefully to my spirits voice A voice that breathes comfort into my soul bidding me to stay my course, for in a little while..I must sleep~
So you've been there, Cafe, and seen the sun, the moon, the stars born ... and it was worth while: you have partaken of the wisdom of God, and the "voice that breathes comfort" you communicated to us so that we too should feel the same comfort in our souls. Good it didn't take you long, though you traveled millions of light years to see galactic wonders unravel before your eyes. Many thanks for sharing your impressions!

Hi Cafe,
Don't let it ever be said that you don't have a touch of the poetic about you. This poem has a lovely turn of phrase. A compelling read and a lovely piece of pathos at the end. Cheers mate

TY Mac** I suppose there is something naturally poetic when we're in a reverant state of mind. All humans share the same nature but not all have the same spirit..Thanks much.

TY Redex** Hugging a tree is pretty cool, but it's when they hug you back that all the excitment starts..

He is home now with his father in Heaven. God has one more Angel in Heaven - but I'll that angel has a slightly crooked crown! We love and miss you Cafe - dear friend. Now you can really have a big castle party.

I do not concern myself
with great matters.
I do not reach beyond
the boundaries of my
own understanding.
The sun, the moon, and
the stars are born of
a wisdom too high for
me.
In my moment of time I
pause to acknowledge so
much greatness before me,
and I am humbled to be a
servant of the most High.
The wind whispers through
the trees and I listen
carefully to my spirit's
voice,
A voice that breathes
comfort into my soul,
bidding me to stay my
course, for in a little
while..I must sleep~
