Look past me

I looked at you once or twice
but you never met my gaze
I'm far too shy
to say 'hi'...

I saw you in Tesco last week
but came over feeling all weak
too meek...
and mild...

It just takes me time to kick in...
Is that really so much of a sin?
to begin...
...slowly?

I have a sense of humour you know?
It just takes a while to show.
and when it does...
...well

So I'm sorry we didn't kick it off
get past shy and I'm quite a laugh
But no, not today
walk away...

I think everyone meets someone in a supermarket....whether it lasts who can tell, but it's said to be the place many couple meet, so never go shopping looking a scruff....LOL...
