Fear not the storm my love Many have come and gone But you, sweet child of faith Shall awaken to the dawn Your heart is filled with sorrow And the enemy has sapped your spirit But no black cloud from hell Should ever make you fear it Take it from one who's been there And lived to tell the tale Trust in the Almighty.. And nothing can make you fail***
Such a perfectly inspirational poem, gently flowing verse! Reminding me of the following:
Fear not that you might make a mistake in believing your dream. Fear rather that if you don't go for it You might stand before God and he’ll tell you you could have succeeded had you had a little more faith.
Fear not that you might fail. Fear rather that you will never succeed if you never try and if you are unwilling to take risks.
Fear not that you might get hurt. Fear rather that you will never grow if you wait for painless success.
The old man said to the young man, “Why not go out, on a limb, After all isn't that where the fruit is.”
I haven't the slightest idea who the author is, but does it matter if and when we need some encouragement to help us climb the hill or make it for the opposite shore, or just live on hoping for better?!
Thank you, dear poet, enjoyed it very much!
