Come in from the rain dear poets..

The clouds have showered your
affections and your audience has
taken cover..
Pithy words were seen in mud puddles
and splashed on unforgiving hearts
The wise, the good, and the beautiful
took shelter in dank caves
Come in my friends, warm yourselves
by my crackling fire
Your words will burgeon in the spring
after the showers of doubt have
dried from the land***

It's a wet, cold and windy day here in Ireland today - the kind of day that's good for a walk and a hot meal by the fire at the end of it. Your poem puts this feeling into quite poetic words Cafe, thumbs up I love the idea of the 'wise the good, and the beautiful' taking shelter in 'dank caves' good stuff sir!
