The Birth of Love

The goddess loved what was not there, but what could be there, and her desire was of such fervor, that the not became so. As the object of her love beheld the power and beauty of the goddess, he was aroused to love without knowing why or how to do so. All he knew was that this goddess' love was the source of his strength, flowing through his veins and feeding his heart. So naturally he wrapped his arms around her to protect what his body required; and his adoration and devotion stirred the goddess to love him even more..
