Beautiful People

I enter the arena of the gym,
To be among the beautiful people
Who stand like ancient olympians,
The titans of my city,
Seeking to perfect the body temple..

Just off in the corner way,
I gaze upon a goddess,
Her long dark raven hair
And toned feminine silhouette
Reflects upon the mirrow like a supernova...

I begin my routine,
Breathing in to find my center,
Entering into a dimension all my own,
Blood rushes through my body,
My work today is complete...

I will come again to the gym,
To become one of the beautiful people,
Pushing my body to new realms,
Fueled by desire and vanity,
Climbing Mount Olympus again...

Interesting thoughts Spartacus, I've been amongst those Olymians and the going was hard. I much rather now the fresh air of a mountain or a sea on my face and the feel of a forest floor to that of a gym dunno
Have fun turning into a god of some sort laugh thumbs up

Thanks Ladybee for your thoughts, it's just a description of the feeling I get from keeping at a peak level of fitness. I certainly don't fancy myself a god of any sort. Anyway, thanks for reading and enjoy the fresh air...Ken

I worked at a ski resort and never saw such a collection of hot women. The fun part was helping them get up or off the lift. I felt like Jim Carrey driving the limo in Dumb and Dumber, "Goodbye my love!"smitten detective

Sounds like fun work at the ski resort, Mcradloff. Perhaps i'll take up skiing..Thanks for reading...Ken
