Are You There?

Are you there?
I have searched the Heaven’s blue
Forever wanting a friend, just like you
And when I think I have found you there
You go away, Oh! What despair
An e-mail, a meet or two
You go away, Oh! Where are you?
Forever playing the matching game
But the answer is always, Yes, the same
Too young to old, to fat to thin, your not the one
Too old to birth a healthy baby son
You want to travel and not to stay
Where have you gone, you’ve gone away
You want to bowl and water ski
Climb the mountains, surf the water‘s high crests, it’s not for me
Not as mobile as once I was
But I can still cuddle, kiss and buzz
My needed wants are very few
Quiet times and loving you
Someone that lives very near
That can date for pizza, dinner,
wine or maybe a nice cold beer
Seeking a non-smoker and a companion for a life time friend
A home body, dancing days are over, non-adventurous or into the fitness gym, will this seeking never end
Are you there?
Searching for the one that likes to play board games and drinking coffee or tea near the computer!
Poet playing the matching game
