First Dance.

We were in our teens
I met you in a library back in 2003
I saw your face, and you saw mine
It was love at first sight
Till that one tearful night
I hope she loves you right
Cause I'm dancing alone
throughout this life
We were in Boise
and It was Christmas
You were a Skate-boarder
and you were mine,
back then,
Now it's all me reminiscing in the back of my mind.
You never gave me a first dance
So this is my first dance
I'm dancing alone
I'm dancing throughout this life
Cause you chose to go separate ways
Long ago
I hope she gives you what you need
cause It wasn't me
I hope you love
and I hope your heart is content
just like it used to be back then
cause I miss your smiling face
and the pictures you drew me
So, I'll dance alone
like your in the same room
cause I miss you,
I'll dance alone
cause I never got my first dance,
you blew your chance
I hope your happy
cause its a bitter tearful time
reminiscing in the back of my mind.

It's life, so it happens. It was a poem I wrote a long time ago.
