Lonely Days

Music plays
that's all I hear all day
cause it's the only thing here to keep me sane
when life isn't so great each day
better things will come my way
and music will fill the lonely days
and time will pass as it fades away
and then someday,
I'll have a heart that's mended
unbroken,
I'll see cheerful days
If only I pray,
the lord will love the hurt away,
he'll bring me someone who will stay,
and the lonely days will soon fade away,
forever he'll be here to stay,
and I'll smile again,
because the lord above will have blessed me once again.

Having a love in your life is not a sure gaurantee that your loneliness will permanently disappear.Why do i say so? Well let me explain,sometimes you can be around others 24/7 and feel more alone than if you were by yourself, the connection with others fading over time (or never being a possibility to begin with). You look around and realize that nobody in your life is anything like you or can possibly relate to you.
Loneliness affects most of us,i hope your prayers are answered soon enough to find you that special love.I enjoyed your poem Sparkles,nicely written
