For decades he has been in prison in his own mind His past haunted him, smiles left behind Emotionally tormented, several months locked away Negatively affected his career and health, the price he pay
Frequently traveling overseas Fraudulently using aliases A gifted artiste that sings Fled what drug sentence brings
No more evading authorities he outline Extradition contest he decline Did the crime, serve the time, gained knowledge Now he’s busy signaling his crossing of the bridge
Singing Nah go a Jail again He strongly proclaim Ready to get his singing career back on track So relieved that the proverbial monkey is off his back
Drugs were legal in the US before 1900. Now they fill over half of the prisons in this country. It cost over 30,000 per inmate to care for these people. They get free health care, free dental, free lodging, and all sorts of other things law abiding people could never afford. Seems to me they are in business to create as many criminals as possible and when Obamas health insurance laws kick in next year, they will be filling prisons like crazy.
