A fire called desire

Ever present..
Ever the day dream of
an insatiable craving
The heart weary and
wrenched from the
pain of want
The mind consumed with
impossible fantasys
The torments of a thousand
sleepless nights
Trying to take heaven
by storm
Suffering hell within
and without
Groveling in the dirt
like starving zombies
Mindless wanderers in
the earth
Cursed children grasping
for the wind
Drifting forever in a fire
called..Desire

Hi, cafetwo2010,
...weary and wrenched from the pain of want... Decidedly, from the want of toppings upon crust, one could be rendered so. The poet has managed to convey much with A fire called desire.

Ty Lucy.. Remember dear, it takes fuel to feed a fire, and
the maidens own all the gas stations. I plead the fifth.heart wings grin
