A Lady's Love

A Lady’s Love

A lady’s warm and loving touch
Quickens the pulse
Shortens one’s breath
And hastens a heart to rush,

In reaching out to her for love
Letting the mind run rampant
In the heat of the moment
And in all of the moments thereof,

Through the hours, days and weeks
The months and the years
Spent in love making so tender
And so very sweet,

Aye tis’ euphoric in every way
An eternity passed in the length
Of a single day,

For the love of this lady
Shall forever keep
Always remain to save
This heart from anguish and pain,

A warm and loving lady
Is she
Raising this man’s soul to exhilaration
Simply by loving me.
