Monster's intent

I don’t trust myself with you. I am afraid of what I’ll become.
Half of me love you and the other half hates how I allow you to hurt me. I bow to one who pretends to be dominant.
Your feeble life and meaningless existence was my entire universe,
the epicenter of my being.
How easy I could of slain this villain who tortured me,
be drenched in the blood of the one who made sins off my soul.
But by love’s mercy you still breathe air.
I imagine you think me not a monster but a fool to be toyed with.
But I’m not the one pretending to be a child of god.
I’ll give you time to collect happiness and when you gather the most precious of them in this self-centered life of yours,
I’ll take them away. One by one I’ll break them.
Fragile are things of this world you so dearly cherish.
They say revenge is worth suffering for and “oh how I’ve suffered.
But this is not about revenge,
only you will know how this story ends.

IvoryPetals, this is very sad but skillfully written. My advice to you, let her go completely. Nobody like that who cares not for your soul is worth even remembering. Forgive and forget... Blessings to you, my friend.
