Standing Ovations

Standing Ovations to you sir the day we met
You wanted to know whats on my mind
Not first what is under my dress or in my pants
And on that the tone for our friendship was set
Don't get me wrong I knew you weren't blind
I saw the desire but your behavior was not infant

Standing Ovations! The friendship was formed solid
We dated without me having to fret about your intentions
And you showed you care without being "dog" about it
I learn't that with a look my legs could turn liquid
And for our future I had high expectations
Because in my dreams, my life and my future you fit.

Standing Ovations! That first kiss could write a book
A Hundred and ten thousand pages long and never boring
It sizzle my toes, sped my heart, teared my eye and wet me
You could knock me over baby with just a look
Foreplay had me on cloud eighty souring
My nether parts dance with anticipation and glee

So why am I standing here alone and close to tears
Why is my body humming an unfulfilled song of woe
Why is my heart, mind, body and soul in contractions
Why do I want to enter this bedroom with spears
Why do I want to kill you long and slow
Because behind these doors you had no STANDING OVATIONS
