Misdirection

I watched the gulls out over the sea
The reflection of the sun blinding me

The breeze blowing through everything that could move
If this day ever ends, it'll still be too soon

I'm holding on to dreams and false beliefs
I've got hope

I'll do as I please and not care what you think of me
But you know-

Everything's spinning and turning, jumping and flying
We're running and dodging everything in our way

And your smile still gleams so brightly,
As we realize all this time-
We we're going the wrong way.

I'm loving your writing, your soul's expressions HelloGoodbye,

funny how 'Misdirection' is so saturated with directionality
