Waiting

It's a long way back home
We'll never make it down that road

Hands clenched and hearts racing
Only together will we defeat what we're facing.

Come closer as it all falls apart
Meet me at the cross roads where we start.

Where am I to go?
What am I to do?

Where is the love?
Where are you?

To "Come closer as it all falls apart..." is perhaps counterintuitive to our human nature but is, it seems, what ultimately brings about any new beginning between people. That's an awesome stanza.
