My African lady
her skin
shades of autumn brown
hair black
like the raven
eyes that burn
with dark fire
shadow forest body...
I have dreamed her
she is picking olives
from the grandest tree
then she was plucked
by God Himself
to make her all over again
for me in shades
of autumn brown...
Come out tonight, mi amor
meet me down by the sea
for you are so beautiful
the gulls will fly about you
the very air of the ocean I promise you
will ignite my love for you...
Your mouth the water lashes of whips
kisses that can open
my heart like the sharpest blades
the bright disc of the moon
soars and explodes
beneath my sleepy eyelids...
In the middle of the night
I awake all but miserable
and find myself in the arms
of my moonlight shadow dancer
my light brown goddess
lusciousness in black satin
clothed in the dusk...
When we make love
the full moon bleeds black
it is always
one minute to midnight...
Poor sad me
I was so contrite
when the morning comes
all of the dark night
I have been enjoying
the love from the one who loves best
beneath the light of the moon...
I wish to be draped
in night again
where shadows swallow us...
My black angel
I hunger for your touch
A breeze blows softly
moving the ship of my thoughts
towards you mi alma gemela
outside the leaves waltz
I am lulled to sleep..
Spread your wings my angel
we will fly
and merge with the winter solstice...
