Innocence was killed today by modern society, And no one mourned its passing, though the media covered it around the clock,
Because the children that were the last the last to see it Never realized what was missing, And had no idea they should all be in shock
For war is not fought for honor or glory, And the winner claims a hollow victory, As any boy of ten will say, absolutely, This was the theme from Call of Duty
Pornography has changed the way young men see, And young women are sold the fantasy, Of the perfect man, the only one for them, Illusions shattered by continuum.
Courtship and Romance both skipped town, And Game and Rules both came down, In bars and clubs and they ran rife, And made a mockery of love life.
Now money and beauty are the only currency, And everyday morals clash with liberty, Is there no more room for decency? Now Innocence has been killed by society.
