A Promise

Embedded image from another site

She reached for my hand
and I spoke such as this
my love you promised me
before the moon rises
I beseech you

I am infatuated
I know this

You promised me a kiss!
Wanton passion
has frozen it on my lips...

You see a queen cannot break her promise..
Then she leaned and kissed my mouth...

Hi Ken, an excellent piece as always. A summer night moment, Liam, we're going state-side. Now, I could get myself into a bit trouble here if I go off on the tack I was going to take. Thoroughly enjoyed this one Ken.
