The Game of Love!

The Game of Love!

Someone took you right out of my arms
My dream walked away from me!

And when I looked I was alone

The hills were lonely with no song

The oceans roars went out to sea

The gentle breezes no longer whistled
through out the quiet trees

The winging blue birds flew away

A ghostly cold went through out my bones
I felt so desolate and so alone

How did I lose someone like her

I miss the holding of her hands and walks at night

To gaze at Haven’s Stars and into her eyes so ever bright

I miss her sweet tender loving lips joined with mine
To hold her softness. Oh! so divine

But now she left me for another man
The dream I had went down the drain!

Ah! I see another lonely, pretty girl walking bye
She was left alone by another guy

Hello, Miss! I were wondering, would you care to go for a midnight walk or sit on a park bench and talk and talk

She told me her mother told her never …
To talk with strangers, so I gave her a piece of candy and we went for a walk.

Men and women will always be the same
It’s part of the mating game!

I think that this girl was meant for me!
She’s a Dream!

And the beat goes on!

About this poem:
Where is the one for me
to walk hand in hand with?

I ran out of candy!
