My lover
you know
my secret sorrows
the rest of the world
knows not...

You see
my wounds
that never show
on my body
that run deep

and hurt more
than any that bleed...

All is wish for
is for you to want me
and for this pain
to be purposeful...

When you are away
for days at a time
I do not wish
to see anymore...

I close the curtains
lie in bed
while nothingness
washes over me...

Without love
and romance
life has no gleam
of sunshine...

When you are gone
I am gone
so far gone
drowning

in quicksand...

Hi Ken, just came out of a depression myself friend. Granted, mine wasn't the same as your, still, it was depression. I'm now a happy bunny so your happy bunny will be back. I know it's not a good feeling at all partner but it passes and the light comes back in. You tell even these thoughts well Ken.

Ken, missing her is greatest testament to your true and deep feelings for your lady...she's one lucky lady. People who do not feel this deep don't know how to love deeply...they call themselves logical (devoid of feelings and emotions lol!)...and attribute deep emotional feelings to insecurity or not being too confident. How sad for them for they will never know the depth and blessings of truly loving someone nor can appreciate being loved deeply, truly.

I just had to read this one more time Ken my dear friend.

It is screaming of sorrow and loneliness and you know, loss and loneliness are the most potent source of emotions that make us beaming of this soulful writes. I feel you my dear friend. I do know it will surely gets better. The sun is always bright so they say.

Take care and love is out there. We just have to wait when it knocks one more time. Or many more times.
