Dare

Dare to sing in cathedral hall
Dare to dream when nightmare call
Dare to laugh when hearts do sigh
Dare to cry as love goes by.

Dare to dance in daylight dawning
Dare defy thy heart's due warning
Dare to touch an angel's wing
Dare to hear a siren sing.

Dare, when caution ere derides
Dare and let the heart decides
Dare to love; however small
Dare to give thy very all.

About this poem:
I wrote this a while ago. I would like to rewrite it but often it doesn't work as well as the first go...

your poems are so gentle compared to mine the word Dare is one I would apply to mine, I dare not put them on here far to harsh.
Your work is lyrical and touching.
