Moon Beams------- a wayra

With moon shining bright
casting long silvery shadows
that hide the lovers from sight
as they lay together
by the river in dappled shade

Nice one shadow. ......does it always have 5-7-7-6-8 count every time? This would make a great challenge.

Nice to see you.
Thanks for introducing us to the wayra, a new poetic form.
As usual, this piece reflects your brilliant descriptive ability.
Have a nice day!

I admire your talent for these various poetic forms. Though the Wayra being fairly new to me, this was lovely to peruse tonight. Thank you for this and its a delight as always to have you with us dear Linda.
