A Secret Love.

When you were a child
I was In your dreams,
Within your peaceful night
I dwelt within your scenes.
You saw my darkened majesty
But never did you fear,
Love was In your heart
You cried Love's own tear.
Now you are no child
I have come to you,
Your Love Is still the same
It Is ever true.
I wonder If you still see
The child who Loved the night,
Who loved her Dark Angel
Who saw within him light.
Shall you ever be
The child who watched the moon,
Who had a Loving heart
Who lived In Love's cocoon.
Your dream has come true
Your heart's Love shall ever run,
Ever your heart touched with Love
Your Dark Man he Is come.

About this poem:
When we were young we all had our dreams of deep fantasy. Some of us embraced the night and some of us feared It. Few of us held to the dream but some did.

Thanks for dropping by and the comment. You didn't know I was psychic, did you? Seriously, I was just thinking back to my own childhood and this piece just came to me. I was also thinking of my lady so I just tried to merge both thoughts.
Have a good day. Catch you later. Your Friend always....MIKE.

Hi Imagine, thanks for dropping by and the comment. Love should be gentle and written of In the same way. Very few childhood dreams become a reality. We forget the dream and go In a different direction, but maybe one or two do. Maybe this little one did get her Dark Angel.
Have a good day. Catch you later. Your Friend always....MIKE.

like the darkness searching and finding the light very gothic and deep!

Thanks for dropping by and the comment. Yes, one can take a Gothic, dark look to the write. The Dark Man resigned himself long ago to be as a shadow of twilight. He Is a secret Love. It Is strange the writes one can comw up with when several thoughts merge, Isn't It?
Have a good day. Catch you later. Your Friend always....MIKE.

Thanks for dropping by and the comment. Yes Mick, what are we without our dreams? I definitely need mine just to keep a grip on the old sanity In this day and age. Bring back my childhood dreams and I would be a happy man.
Have a good evening. Catch you later. Your Friend always....MIKE.

Thanks for dropping by and the comment Liam. It's much appreciated. It's like coming on for the first time again. You are still singing out the beauty Liam. Watch though, the Rose thief has returned and I will be wanting my share of that moon. Don't make me beg now. Childhood dreams, how precious they were Liam.
Have a good evening. Catch you later. Your Friend always....MIKE.
Hope I'm back this time. Really glad to see you bud.
