AUTUMN

The dainty leaves
fall refined
in fellowship;
Filling the earth with
fervent colors
Swirled within the crisp breeze
Nigh to
vexed strokes of a
artist full of sweet nectar
Hues of placid blue
stormy grey
is the sky;
Black birds with raven feathers
do call,
introducing Autumn..
Before long, we shall wear
soft sweaters all bundled
Hot apple cider with cinnamon sticks
Roar of a fire
to warm us
And the love of home..
