A FALLEN ANGEL

A gulf divides her
From the rest;
She sits and gazes
Wondering
Why are the beautiful angels kept
With snow white wings
And halos that glisten with gold
For she is different
Wings of jagged black
Dark as midnight
And upon her head
Horns with a crooked halo
Forged from bloodstone
A voice from the shadow spoke
Wonder not my dear
She ask why
Because you where born of travail with sorrow
A heart that seeks the unknown
Ripe as a child
Soul of mystery
Saddened with the answer
She realized
Her chalice was tainted
Lot in this life
From whence she doesn't know
But within this life
A fountain flows inside her
Tranquil with cool waters
Dragon flies that land gently
A dragon that waits
To touch her soul with beauty
Love her pain
Carry all that hurts
To love her and all her mystery
