He Cometh!

He Cometh!

The Ghost of the mind doth murder sleep!
Sleep that cradles you deep within it’s shell!

Sleep that brings an unfettered fear that can
creep into one’s mind!

Fear to sleep … for if you do …
He will cometh in the night to savor and devour you~

The Specter from the dark side nibbles at
your mind spouting his frightful groans

An apparition of the undead haunting in
Gothic horror

A manifestation that feeds upon the psyche
of your mind and must be banished as a cursed
demonic force, before he devours you as his prize!

Your future lies within the falling of life’s cards

Look deep within your crystal ball and then deal
Tarot cards of fear to someone else ~ vanish this
apparition as mystic vapor

The Queen of Spades, the Jack of Knaves …
and the deadly foe ~ the treacherous Ace of Spades

Feel the bump of the séance table as the ghosts
of beyond, which are seen by the corner of your eye
are trying to contact you

Hear it speak! … it is I … it is I … Beware …
I am coming … I am coming

Beware … Beware … they come … they crawl
Among the living pits to pull you under the ground
into the depths of hell … into their ghostly eternal
Spirit world of the dammed

Hear them singing … bump in the night
It is their theme song

Hear the eerie sound of chains being dragged around
at night … and the anguished screams of the dammed
… some without heads

Sounds penetrating the maddening blackness of
despicable unknown nocturnal habitats!

A skeleton hand stretches forth pawing it’s way
from beneath the ground of the cemetery of the living
dead

Ripping earth’s surface apart with it’s bony
out-stretched hands soon to be followed by a ghostly
decaying figure
appearing in tattered gray rags in disarray!

He is after you my dear!

He cometh beware … heed him … he groans …
He wants to pull you under when he returns to his
land of tormenting tomorrows!

Oh the taste of vengeance is so sweet to the innocent
But oh so awesome to the knowledgeable …

Beware heed my words

He cometh into the gloom of the night with his eyes
glowing … radiating an eerie ghostly green!

Sleep well my sweet!
The Ghost writer of the fearsome night

JimEee....The Man of Many Faces...

You now have each and every woman ( and perhaps man too...lol) trembling with fear.

Instead of melting like putty when they read your romantic and some times sensual words, they are now trembling with fear.
OMG...'skeleton hand stretching from beneath the ground'!

I'm afraid that if you ever entertain an overnight house guest, and allow them to read this first, they are going to insist that all the lights in the house are turned on before they even attempt falling asleep.

Sleep well Dear JimEee...but are you really certain that YOU are safe??????

I just couldn’t resist penning a Cherry poem
that perhaps Edgar Allen Poe would relish on
a dark stormy night as he watched the wonderful array of jagged lightening brighten up his dismal night!

His anticipation of the skeleton aberration clawing
it’s way from the land of the living dead, searching for a victim to pull back down under ground upon it‘s return!

Mady fear not ~ he cometh not for thee
But you others beware ~ sleep with lights
all aglow ~ for perhaps ~ he may not come out of the shadows to apprehend you ~ perhaps ~

Mady thanks for your fearful comments! Lol

Enjoyed the diversity of your talent, dear Romantic Poet, and the comments - yours and others. My first association was with Edgar Allan Poe's Raven, and then you added some other names in your comment. Thank you very much for sharing!wine bouquet
