A BROKEN DREAM.

___{A BROKEN DREAM}___

One morning, at 2.a.m. woke up suddenly,
Low in spirit, less eager to live,
Ah!, there is terrible painful heart,
Inside I felt, but need to be strong,
Seems increasing greatly, more piercing.

Shoba, you so afar, shadow of death chasing,
To snatch you away, without trace, trail,
Was it fate or God, when are you in my arms?
How my heart was delighted full of you.

Ethereal care, time, love showered on me,
That maketh me happy, upped my confidence,
Healed my wounds, when injured,
Saw you standing strong through rough seas.

Never I knew when our propeller took off
Navigating as a pilot of angry skies,
Through fierce air turbulence,
Later I realize what I was searching for,
That’s you!

Saw in you, a blend of innocence, elegance,
Loving heart, supporting smile, kind eyes,
Oh!, you are so special to me,
Will I lose you ever? ……….or live today?

Never you tempted, nor you promised,
Still I dream of that {pretty day},
Now………. I want to live, looks real,
Like never before……..with spirit unchallenged.

Will you there to say ………. “yes, I do”
Time will only tell,
And I will wait!

About this poem:
This poem was written in memory of my wife, who passed away on 16th January, 2007.
Actually, the poem came to me while she was still alive and I asked myself a question___ What if she was not with me?
All the experiences described in the poem are all real life instances.....like me waking up in the middle of the night and emotions I began to feel at that moment.
