The story of a man who goes insane He tries to murder his wife and child But only ends up killing a black man and freezing to death Lost in a hedge maze But is this story that much fantasy? What about the killer in Las Vegas? What about the countless nameless victims all over this land People who's only crime was being in the wrong place at the wrong time What is the solution to all this madness? How do we create people who don't go nuts? Or people who are totally sane but still commit horrific crimes Fathers who are nice to their children That would be a start And mothers who actually think ahead and have kids they want And kids they can afford to have Gun control I don't own a gun Because I don't believe in pointing a deadly weapon at any one I don't believe in taking them away from people though Cause then only the criminals would have guns Chicago is a good example of this

About this poem:
Finishing up the movie The Shining and thinking of all the talk about the massacre that happened Sunday night in Las Vegas. I love how the family acts totally innocent, they did have some influence in how he turned out.
