Seek

Oh heart...why do you seek?
Doesn't heartbreak make you weak?
Remember all those tears you cried?
Just because of another heart that lied.
Those broken promises,those wasted years,
Those memories that created your fears.
And still you hope, still you seek.
Poor broken heart...aren't you weak?

About this poem:
This is a short poem of a heart hoping even in fear.It is incomplete, words pouring out of me in a few seconds. Commanding me to bring these feelings to life and I did because words too need to breathe.

No I'm not weak (the heart says), this much I can say, loving is the one thing I can't get rid of anyway,
I've been hurt, I've been torn, but still love more,
When I see tears fall from your eyes at nights,
It gives me strength to continue fight,
We will find love again this I know,
Everyone has a soulmate, flowers just need time to grow.
