I walked blindly in the night with no hope of seeing spiritual light
Until my beloved appeared with her insight
She called unto me so lovingly "Come my beloved take my hand walk with me and let me show you your plight
My beloved, you are quite clever in your search for love Yet, often refuse to see, it all comes from the heavens above
You think you can choose beauty and what may appeal Yet, refuse to accept that which can heal
You design an ideal image of what may seem real Yet, true love and beauty is often concealed
You chase after dreams yet, not everything you see flows so gently down the streams
Your search for truth always questioning the proof It could hit you on the side of your head and still you cry alone in your bed
My beloved I come to you in many beautiful forms I try to reach you that don't follow the norms In your stubborn denial I still come to you in my usual style
You ask for my guidance and you place false hindrance to your own demise then push away the truth for a song and dance
Yet, its only a matter of time you come crying and whining with your thoughts of me sublime
Such a fool you are like a shooting star I know who you are
Yet, do you know who I am when you are stuck in a jam? You call unto me with your songs of joy and misery Asking for meaning to life's mysteries You cry unto me for all the ills of the world you made in the hope that love will not fade
How many times when convenient you forgot about me but, suddenly remember with life's adversities?
I could send you many in my behalf and offer you a rod or staff Yet, in your stubborn ways you still walk in a haze
Just remember I am always here for you til the end of days
Human nature and animal nature alike seem to go for what their eyes lead them to. Look at the birds and other animals. The male birds lead the female birds on with beautiful song and bright plume! Possibly only the blind can truly see. There has only been one in this world who has truly and selfishly loved us all. And yes - he awaits for us all.
