No Sweatin' in my Sweats

Sweats, the 21st century's leisure suit
Cozy, comfy, and mosquito proof.
Sweats are not for perspiration.
Don them now for relaxation.

Red and yellow, purple, blue.
Sweats come in every hue.

I wear them day.
I wear them night.
Who the hell cares
If they fit just right.
I wear them to work.
I wear them to play.
I wear them to bed.
Pajamas, I say.

So if my leisure bothers you,
Here is what you ought to do.

Take a break. Intermission.
Go for quiet with a vision.
Do not be spare with your spare time.
Live your life on your own sweet time.

It's recess. Go on a sabbatical.
Take a vacation far to the radical.
Be idle, at ease.
Be free as a breeze.
Pause and repose.
Give air to your toes.
Make a fiesta
Out of siesta.
Neither sweat nor regret
But wear sweats without jets.
Move like a turtle
And don't wear a girdle.

You can call me lazy.
You can call me crazy.
You can call me slack.
I'm always on my back.
I loaf and I snooze,
Never paying my dues.
I dally and dilly,
Get passive and silly.

If one day you should say
I should work and not play.
I'll sleep for awhile,
Be slothful and smile,
And wear my sweats in style.

Whew! I better take a nap.
