One last kiss

One last kiss I beg of you
before you hit the door
never to return again
no mark to show your passing

One last kiss I beg of you
before your heart is parting
for you are broken in places
and must seek your pieces
looking ever for the answers
the pain always licking
ever at your shoulder.

Once last kiss I beg of you
for you are all unknowing
that when you go you steal my grip
lost dreams I am accepting
with the step of you
as you leave me blue
no more will I speak
my dream has died a whisper.
