I would have put down as an option; 'amongst the rebels, with a shaved head, shouting "down with ghaddafi" over and over again while firing an AK-47 into the air' only it would not fit.

I think he's in Libya, somewhere. Don't think he could have gotten out, unless by vehicle and then don't know where he would go by land.

If you remember, Sadaam Hussein was hiding down a hole even though he had tunnels under his compound. I would imagine this creature also had an escape plan. Once his sons were caught by the rebels he had to know his days were numbered.
