They'd say absolutely anything to get a vote. Michael O'Leary described them as 'economic illiterates' which they are, as well as having a history of murder and mayhem.
yes they are of course..look at the likes of Adams..Doherty and McDonald..they work hard for the people they were voted in by...the only true republican party in Ireland..up the provos...undefeated army

Laura, up North they're every bit as bad as FG or FF are down here. And they would be as bad as them in government down here. Some good grassroots people but they're leadership is every bit as corrupt as all the rest.
I think they are a bandwagon party just going around looking for some to give out about without offering anything constructive. The SF TDs don't show up in the dail all the time either when they are supposed to be there so they are like the rest of the parties in reality.

it's different in the 6 counties you know that too
They all talk themselves up when in opposition, hell even FF try to play the "peoples," party card, but the moment any of them get into Government, the only people they give a damn about is themselves!!

I don't buy that, never have, never will. You either have good politics or you don't. If it's wrong to privatise public services here it's wrong in the North.

Is there any such thing though? As far as I can see, they are all as bad as each other. Every politican says they are championing the rights of the people but when it comes down to it, most of them are just out to line their own pockets in my opinion.

firstly it's power sharing up there so that pretty much compromises your core values, also do not control their finances really

It's power sharing in the North, and a coalition down here, the British Government controls the Norths purse strings, The IMF/ECB down here in the South, not that much of a difference really.

huge difference fg could have went down a few different avenues when choosing who they would share power with, that option is not available in the 6 counties
