ali110: I met some realy great Online friends i have ever in my Life. They are real,Honest, and Best friends . What about you ?
Mr. Ali, I think if I consider someone as JUST a friend, then both online and actual friends are not really different. But all of my BEST friends are real..
ali110: ... My Online Friends are Far better than friends in real
Ali man, let say due to some emergency circumstances you really need some amounts of money and then you tell your online friends honestly about this, do you really think that they will lend you the money if you ask them..?
I don't think so, my dear Ali.. I think they will even say that you are a scammer..
I have both, but i would say that the friends i have met online would help with just as much as the day to day friends..real friends arent always easy to come by and if you have them either real or virtual then you should feel lucky..

I have only had one person online EVER ask me for money, they asked for $1000. But of course I didn't send it to them; I am blonde, I am crazy, but I am not an idiot! <---- and yes I even mumble to myself sometimes. But not a lender to online buddies!
No, no way. Online friends are nice to have but what really counts is how we relate in real life. When you start to think that online friends are better than real life friends, it's time to log off and step away from the computer! Go out and LIVE your life, not just pretend to live it in the cyber world. Form relationships with REAL people that you see every day in your real life.
felixis99: just because someone does not live next door does not mean they can't be a good freind
Exactly
in fact where I live??? more likelt anyone else would be a friend - it's not very friendly here& people in the city are rude
Same in here ,,guess living in a big city always makes big influence to our lives ,, prefer live in country village where everyone are good and kind ( talking from my experience ,, was born and live in that place years ago )

Although i have many friends online (seems good friends), for me the difference between the real and online friends is just like the theoritical and practical in science, theoritical sounds promising and ideal but can't be reached practically.
the level of interaction between online friends sometimes reminds me of the way things were before cell phones made us available to all the people all the time. that can be overwhelming. here we can be available at our convenience and not having to explain when and why we are not available, keep our privacy when we want it. still, i consider all the people i haven't met in real life like a part of some world that can disappear in a moment, if internet stops working for some reason. whilst real life friends disappear only if they owe us some money
