I went to the pub with my girlfriend last night. Locals were shouting paedo and other names at me just because my girlfriend is 21 and I'm 52. It completely spoilt our 10th anniversary.

Singlelisious: I had curvy in my profile, then i heard about curvy=fat, changed to Fit....then nahhh I am curvy according to my culture..so curvy it is..and again I am not looking..so is irrelevant.

LonelyMontse08: oh my gosh lol it happens
De verdad!
He might not know about the latin world and the curvy definition.
But if anyone wants the milk he has to take the whole cow!
When men hear the word 'curvy', they think of Playboy bunnies ad swimsuit models. Who have body fat percentages in the low teens. In the weird, warped world of personal ads, 'curvy' is usually just one of hundreds of euphemisms for 'fat'.
Similarly, when men hear the word 'skinny', what usually comes to mind are those emaciated teenage crack addicts you saw in 1990's Calvin Klein ads. In personal ads, 'skinny' is usually a derogatory term used by overweight women to rag on those who aren't overweight. See also: 'anorexic'

had the same thoughts but didnt know how to put it across..to me the word pairing would be..fat/skinny or curvy/slim.. Saw an interesting experiment on TV the other night...they had a curvy lady and a slim lady "accidentally" drop something on the pavement. Men generally ignored the curvy lady yet 98% of men stopped to pick up the item for the slim lady...
In all my years on CS have never seen a slim lady put up a thread on the weight issue ...maybe we are just more comfortable in our own skin without needing constant validation.
