It's more than a number it differentiates between old and young.....and yes it dose matter.....regardless to what people might say.....
I have known old frumpy 34 yr olds and a fw 60yr. olds that have face and body to kill.They both go dancing regularly.I enjoy at 53 kites and swings and alot of the music younger people do.I think alot is state of mind.It's if we let ourselves get old,I work on memory,take supplements for healh,laugh alot,try to accept what I don't understand or like and accept my age chronilogically,no choice,but will be young a heart as long as I can and it makes me feel good.

my ex was 24 years older than me, i was 26 and he is 50...
i was with him for 2 years so the age thing doesnt matter.....

I rather not look at ages below common accepted adulthood (18-21) when I talk of age differences. The examples you mention I do not think anyone will contradict.
And, for extremes, I think if we set an age X +/- 20, it gives a span of 40 years. Then we are there anyway.

Well not younger than 40,but when ur my age,which is older than dirt you dont much of a choice of older cause most older than me arent breathing. that's what I say...if they are older than me, they are either dead or in a nursing homes, and I can't get past the CNA's!!

Lord, Ship I would give a lot to be ur age.But ur right.i On a more serious note! I am 57 years old. I worked hard to get here and there are countless others striving to reach this point and beyond. I am proud to be 57. I may not be in perfect health...but I wasn't at 21 either. I don't want some young chippy trying to make me feel younger...I want a mature woman who has experienced much the same as I have. One who can share joys and disappointments, accomplishments and failures...not just discuss the latest concert tour of whoever. One who knows that love is an emotion, not a feeling.
Age is not "just a number" it's a bench mark of progress and life skills as well as maturity.

was perfect for a redneck joke Nope- not just a number for sure. I have real experience with this as my ex is 14 years older than I am and I would warn anyone not to get involved with some one more than 10 years different than yourself. there are real physilogical and phyiclogical differences in ages that become very real problems. believe me. It even inhibits your ability to spell. I would have to have good reason to date anyone more than 5 years differnt than myself. I put my money where my mouth is. Check my profile. women 45-50 only. I mean it too.
