Hi Hoolet, that reminds me, my neighbour came back from the South Island with some heritage seeds from an apple that grows AS BIG AS YOUR HEAD, she has sprouted them in her refrigerator.Cant remember the name but sounds like a crazy old fashioned English one.

We had two trees in our garden when I was a child.......One was McIntosh I believe.........the other was cooking apples.
