I doubt I'll be getting married anytime soon...hell, I've gotta find a decent man first.

When I got married it was important to me to be married by the same minister that married my parents because I thought my parents had a good marriage and so he married us in the same church.
When my daughter told me she was getting married I told her she could design her wedding any way she wanted but it was important to me that she get married in a church under the eyes of God.
When Sept. 11th happened I was in desperate need of finding a church but most of the doors were locked so I drove around until I finally found one. I wanted to feel safe under the eyes of God.
My opinion of God has changed but I still see a church as a beautiful piece of art.
One of my favorite books "Pillars of the Earth" is the story about the largest church ever built during the 17th Century in Europe.
IF I was to marry again it would be by a Justice of the Peace or a Captain on a ship, something intimate rather then flashy.

I would like to be married in a small sandstone church...I have 2 near me. Sorry folks..it is not for religious reasons and I very much doubt it would be by a minister. I just love old, small sandstone churches with the od stained glass windows.
Alternative? Definitely on a cliff-top or beach at sunset...or a vineyard luncheon!

I've always wanted to have a garden wedding, much nicer and relaxed atmosphere. Birds singing, sweet perfumed flowers.
