The polls on this site mean absolutely nothing, so it's irrelevent as to the individual votes, or the outcome, which way anyone votes.

I'd rather see more threads, where a person's choices weren't limited to a select few for an answer. Especially if the OP has a bias, or an agenda to fulfill in their making of the the poll.

I'm very surprised that people think the polls have no value. I've always like polls and questionaires, because I like to know what makes people tick. It's fascinating to me to see how people answer the polls. Looking at the poll results lets me see what motivates the CS users, and helps to get to know people.
