Prices of hybrid cars are quite higher than ordinary cars, 2 even 3 times higher. So even they be so ecologically friendly, fumeless and smokeless, so economic and so easy to drive they are still not for the common working person.
Driving in a crowded car-jammed city every day back and forth to work up to 45 km is a trying experience. Further more paying 5 times more money on energy/fuel than is actually needed is really a waste/not acceptable.
While going electric means no more dirty and smelly exhaust system, no catalyzer, no water cooling system with its heavy and hot radiator, no fuel tank, no hot-burning petrol motor with its low efficiency performance of 20% at most! No greasing and dust under the hood. No expensive repairs in car services.
Simply and beautifully electric - easy to maintain, clean, economic, ecologic. And totally good to drive in jammed city.
So I'm conceiving of making a joint company with some persons in France or in Germany on making and marketing of electrified traditional old used cars.
No as i dont drive but what annoys me is people on bycles riding on pavements that are meant for pedestrians only its dangerous, when my youngest was 3 months old my ex was carrying him in a baby pouch on her chest a bike came on the pavemment knocked into her and luckily she fell on her back and not forward both were ok but shaken up
I don't get angry about traffic jams unless I have an appointment. Then I get angry at myself for not leaving enough time in case there might be a traffic jam.
I'm saving over $300/month in fuel now that I'm retired. The commute to and from work was long and very frustrating. If you plan on making and marketing an electric car, do your research because each replacement batteries for those cars start at $12,000 each.
I have found that getting angry while driving is not helpful. Today I was simply at a stop sign and as I entered the intersection I heard someone shout, "hurry up you stupid woman!" , as I looked in the mirror a car turned and I realized that they were referring to me as there was no one else around. I kinda laughed. I think they were just venting on a hot day but it made me realize my hair is getting longer. lol.
I see no point in getting angry cause it won't make the traffic move any faster.I've been known to just turn off the engine and wait until it begins to move.
Do you get angry in a traffic jam at least partly coz you are burning precious/expensive fuel?
Sometimes when there are accidents on the opposite side of the highway and all the idiots have to stop and have a look. Around here it can turn a half hour drive in rush hour traffic into an eternity, especially when in the summer and the temp. is in the 90's

I get annoyed with the rubber necking thing too. Why do people want to see people twisted up in an accident. It's the same thing when people hear fire engines and run to the scene to see what's happening. I never understood why people want to see misery. On the weekends people drive down the parkway to the Jersey shore. If there's an accident it isn't the accident that holds up traffic. It's the stupid rubber neckers.

I'm so glad this is all over with for me now. There wasn't a single day that went by where there wasn't at least one accident on my way to and from work so a trip that would normally take 20 minutes, would take an hour or more.
I listen to audio books while in traffic - that prevents any anger issues - that and I try not to create a need to be anywhere at a specific time - so I don't feel pressured when I am stuck in traffic -
I am in traffic getting to my job at least 2 hours everyday - It is a cost I incur to get paid what I get paid. I add it to my budget - if I could not afford to get to work - I would not keep that job - I would get another.
