There is a painting by Jacopo Bassano (1510-1592) in which Adam and Eve are represented in a particularly realistic. They are young, Adam with blacks hair and a full beard, Eva has brown hair and a big aquiline nose. They are naked, but covered here and there with a cloth that allows you to see the navel. They are sitting on the ground, leaning on his elbows and seem engaged in a family conversation. But next to the feet of Adam, Jacopo posed a skull, which is a sort of "memento mori." But who could it be that skull if no one had died before then?
