I had some turkeys they were well fed and had pet names.
We ate them for Christmas.

I couldn't even eat mines eggs, much less eat them LOL...had a couple of turkeys too, but the coyote's got them...they wouldn't go in the coop at night

Yes I understand you can get attached to them, the person I got them from warned me, but I thought why be a hypocrite, they were bought to be fattened for xmas, and they were.

well originally mine were for eggs and such...got them as chicks and they literally thought I was their momma
I couldn't be anywhere outside that here they would come running...just melted my heart
