But, but the best owner that I ever had was a woman. 
I have fish... they are not useless... I think they are evoke very peaceful thoughts... and I love to watch them swim about ...
they know exactly which side of the pond they get fed... and group there around feeding time.. (when I get home from work)
but the best part...
I watched the spawning last weekend with interest... now that was nature in motion..

Some people have chickens and pot bellied pigs for pets. To me they are livestock and don't belong in the house. I think a pig is smart enough to potty train but a chicken? No Way.

I have you know I had some chickens for pets, but they weren't in the house lol....they are very amazing animals....but yes I loved my girls, they loved cheese, can corn and watermelon most of all, I spoiled them dearly...they had a heater in their coop in the winter
