Dedovix: Okay, in case anything does work on your car ,give me a call ...Ill smash it in to pieces and it will give you a valid reason to get a new one ...
kit is alive she is just a wee bit sick, whats not fully broke does not need 2 be fixed
Just for imformation Pedro. There is a machine that steam cleans the INSIDE of your engine, taking emissions down to the levels just above when a car is new. Obviously, only the larger garages,or specialist firms will have it,and it cost about 100€, but it improves fuel economy, performance and life expectancy of the engine. Its had great write ups.

that sound interesting i will google it to see, i never heard of it, seems that is what the engine needs because i don't want it smoking,''only on high revs it smokes'', because the car test is next saturday
No new oil and a filter won't get rid of the problem, Very expensive oil will just hurt your wallet. If it's a petrol put some STP petrol/injector cleaner in it before you take it for it's MOT. Take the car for a blast along the motorway then in to the MOT station.Don't let the car idle at the garage either try and get it taken in as soon as you arrive. Should work.
Adding oil to the fuel tank is an OLD trick dating back to the days of leaded fuel and it should be reserved for vehicles using leaded gas. Oil in the fuel can act adversley with gasket materials made after 1975. Likewise, your newer engines emission control setup is not expecting motor oil in the exhaust fumes, so it can gum that up too. May I suggest having your valves checked and also the engine timing?
