Well there is no scientific proof of GOD or evolution. So mankind in general has to have faith in one or the other. So then you have to weigh the collective facts on each. To the far reaches of the cosmic universes, tho argued a lot, the evidence about everything that's known demands a creator. In other words if you believe in the Big Bang (which is not unreasonable)it also had to have a state of origination in matter from something. Evolution dies by the day in the fact that Darwin's "missing link", that he said would be found in his lifetime in the fossil record, continues to be elusive. Also the scientific fact that everything is in a state of degeneration and not evolving. Therefore I conclude God exist until they prove he does not.

Nice theology...but the "big bang theory" leaves ice running through my veins whereas "God" has to me been a proven fact IMO through experiences I've had
It depends on what you think of as god. Zeus with a long white beard sitting on a throne? No I can't say I believe that. A force that all life comes from? Yes I can believe that. I think of god as something that is not in itself a thinking, sentient and conscious being, but the source of all life. Sort of like the earth. All life springs from it but it's not alive in the same way we are.

If it came off the end of Gods finger in an instant, it would still be a big bang in theory in an instance. and your personal experiences are part of your faith

You can not prove a negative. Prove, that you have NOT been to Mars.

have you been on any of the other threads? so nice to see you out here, been needing some intelligent input
serena123: Yes, I believe in God... There is no Devil though
Actually, if you believe in God, it demands two conflicting sources exist no matter what we call it. Most commonly called good vs. evil . Which I do not believe there are very many people who would deny that there is Evil and bad in the world. At sometime in the past, one of his creations went rogue. If you believe in God then, and that he created the cosmos, earth, and all that is in it, it would demand a perfect creator in omnipotent , omnipresent, and omniscient. A perfect God can not allow Evil in his presence, and He has limited time and space for Evil to exist, which includes our surroundings also, until certain events unfold. IMO

How do you know God is a he -if an existing entity- and he must be perfect?
