Word of God and in it Jesus talks about hell many times and that
you dont want to go there. Its forever and its suffering.. i would
say Read and Believe in what God has told us in the Bible about

you wont be in doubt about heaven and hell when you die.

These are words to instill fear, fear and faith can never exist together.

Fear as in reverence. If your son didn't have some fear of you, he would've just walked all over you. I hope with your children you disciplined them for their own sake out of love and wanting to protect them.

Well if I did ever instill fear in them, that would have been my failing. But should they ever have mocked or unappreciated me, I certainly wouldn't have wished eternal suffering upon them.
