I spoke with a good friend of mine here in Miami - he had an online relationship for a few years - and he was heartbroken when she died. He said he loved her, and they never met.

Go figure? dunno Was it love? I believe for him it was. Was it healthy? Heck NO!

I did. True love has no boundaries. Love is an uncontrolled emotion. So if someone truelly feels that they love that person then they do.

was it returned or unrequited? Love truly is felt solely by the one person, however, don't you think that love should be shared, given and returned?

No. Absolutely not. A relationship happens when you spend time with each other in real life getting to know each other. You start to become a part of each others real lives. There is no way to do this when all you do is chat online. There is no substitute for the real thing.

I think you can start building a connection with someone over the internet/by phone/by video chatting - how well that goes can determine if you will both make the effort to meet; to spend time together and build a relationship.

I guess it's possible, but unlikely. You can make some good friendships, but love without ever meeting????? come on people. I think too many people live in a fantasy land, and are more in love with the thought. You might be able to tell a lot about someone over a computer eventually, but the one thing you will NEVER be able to tell about this way is a thing called CHEMISTRY. There's something to be said about the old fashioned way of doing things, face to face. Good luck all anyway.

This may sound silly to some, But I Do Believe it is Possible to fall in Love, before ever Meeting! Kinda like needing water, and when Water is Promised and delivered, Then you can Drink !
