These shootings will always affect me because someone has died at the hands of a mentally challenged person.
I will never become desensitized to it.
When I saw the news this morning with CNN online I thought to myself....omg, another shooting, and then I went on to the next story.
I felt guilty that I didn't read what it was all about. I think I figured I'll be hearing all about it for the next few days so why take the time to read about it now. The story I would read today will more then likely change greatly in the next few days. We are still hearing how scientists are trying to understand the massacre of 20 children and 6 adults by Adam Lanza.
Shootings whether someone is killed or not will never be "just another day for me"
